We want to make people laugh! We do it by making silly comedy games, being original, and taking chances. We recently launched WHAT THE GOLF? - a golf game for people who hate golf! We’re generally looking for people who has 2+ years of game industry experience and who are not like us — People who will challenge us and our way of doing things. We are currently 20 people of 5 different nationalities and the language is English.
As a Test Automation Engineer you will create and maintain tests across our projects. You’ll be working as part of the Tools team, in close collaboration with the QA team and the development team.
WHAT THE GOLF? Has 500 unique small levels that require days of QA testing for each update with push out, and we’re about to make more games with similar QA challenges. You will focus on automating parts of the QA process, and supporting the other part.
The first thing you’ll take lead on is building a test automation pipeline for setting up gameplay tests (probably with recorded input) that enables us to verify that all levels are functional and completable.
Write and maintain test suites for gameplay, unit, tools, and integrations
Build project agnostic tools that we can use across all our games
Develop tools and processes to minimize bottlenecks
Communicating test results to the team (or automating it)
Identifying areas that requires additional testing and coordinating with the QA team
Work with developers to facilitate automated testing
Offer inputs on the testability of designs and features
Coming up with and implementing your own ideas, solutions and wacky things
Proficiency in C# and programming in Unity
Experience with git or similar version control with branching, tags, etc
Knowledge of CI tooling (we currently use Jenkins)
Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
An interest in automating everything
