What we are looking for

We’re looking for a Head of Operations to oversee daily activities across different teams. You will be the one to ensure that Rens is well-coordinated and productive by managing our procedures and coaching other team members.

What you will do

• Liaise directly with the CEO, CMO, CTO to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals

• Plan, monitor the day-to-day operations, and supervise members of different teams (Retail, Logistics, Legal, Operations, and Accounting, etc.)

• Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements

• Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer experience

• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to maximize growth and increase profitability

• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors when applicable

• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics

• Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

The ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience as Head of Operations/Operations Leader/COO or equivalent position

• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

• Outstanding communication and people skills

• Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines

• In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer support, etc.)

• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics

• High fluency in English, no Finnish required

• Extremely organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to work under a lot of pressure

• Adaptability to work in a young, dynamic, and multicultural (7 different nationalities) environment of a fast-growing startup.

It would be a plus if you also have:

• Experience in scaling up consumer brands or eCommerce-related startups/scaleups

• Experience in Retail, Fashion, and Supply Chain Management

• Solid knowledge of data analytics

• Experience in multinational operations (i.e. Nordics, USA, East Asia)

• A growth mindset with the ability to keep pushing forward despite the chaos!
