What you will do

The CTO will set and communicate the technology vision and direction, aligned with the product strategy and direction, making sure that everyone is on the same page and are working in the same direction. The CTO will earn the respect of the teams with crisp execution, technical depth, hands-on style, and decision-making ability. The CTO will report to the CEO, and the position is based at our head office in Malmö and remotely.

Primary Responsibilities will include:

• Set the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap in close collaboration with the Director of Engineering and the product team.

• Discover and implement new technologies that will give competitive advantages.

• Understand codebase and architecture inside out

• Communicate, champion, and coach developers

• Hands-on programming contributing to the Docly Platform

• Assist in recruitment

Who are you?

We see you having at least 5 years of experience in similar tasks within a tech-driven company in the growth phase. Writing code that creates value for users and keeping up to date with innovations in your field is something you are passionate about. You build effective teamwork, you want to learn new things, work closely with different stakeholders and are able to create and motivate an innovative development team.

Additionally, you:

• Have strong experience as a full-stack developer

• Are experienced in data engineering and machine learning

• Possess proficiency in cloud infrastructure

• Are a curious person keeping yourself up to date with the latest trends.

• Have a clear vision of what good looks like with regards to SW architecture.

• Are passionate about finding innovative solutions. 

• Love to learn and sharing knowledge and encourage others to do so as well

Previous experience in digital care is meritorious.
