In this role, you will be responsible for defining short-term and long-term strategies for our product portfolio, including assortment, product development, sourcing and quality control. We are growing fast, and we need you to ensure that we have the right products at the right price and that we continuously quality check and develop partnerships with our suppliers.

Would you like to...
Build and lead a supply chain and category management team (currently 5-6 people) in a fast growing multi-channel niche retailer
Lead and design an overall approach to category management, product development and sourcing
Develop a quality control setup
Manage inventory and optimize working capital
Support your team in optimizing each product category across all product groups in close collaboration Marketing, Retail and Customer Experience
Then, here’s the skills needed to succeed;
Leadership - You know what it takes and have experience with leading a skilled team
Category management - You know how to develop categories to optimise sales, profit and customer happiness
Quality control - You are used to conduct quality control and can establish easy-to-learn procedures for your team to also be able to do so
Sourcing experience - You have sourcing experience, preferably from far-east and know how to find/establish new suppliers
Data-Ninja - You base your decision making, demand planning and execution on data and are strong in delivering analysis yourself
Getting-stuff-done - Capable of formulating a coherent plan and executing it together with your team
You could come from backgrounds like; purchasing, sourcing or category management, preferably within fashion/textiles

This position is full time and you will be working from our HQ in Rødovre, Denmark, report to our CFO and some travel will be expected.
