Job summary:
Drive Carrot Kitchen app's community engagement and user retention with a wide array of activities both inside and outside the app.
Key responsibilities:
Own and run the live calendar of the app (daily, weekly and monthly activities and user messaging), driven by the product goals
Ideate, conceptualise and execute user facing initiatives including challenges, campaigns, promotions, contests and events, in-app and out of the app
Own and manage the in-app communication tools and push notifications
Manage TikTok as the main out-of-the app channel to engage kids and build the community
Participate in out-of-app user communication execution according to defined strategy, like website updates, social media and email send-outs
Be the main user-facing Carrot person, with a well defined and consistent tone of voice combined with your own personality
Manage the customer support Help centre in Intercom, and operate customer support in the early stages when ticket volume is still moderate
Monitor, analyse and communicate the performance of the events and other activities and their impact on retention, revenue and other targets, iterate based on the analysis
Create and run a VIP user group with whom we can test ideas and who can act as ambassadors
Suggest best channels and ways to engage with users, and form the ’VIP group’
Channel user feedback from the community to the team to be combined with other user insights, and improve the community experience through creativity and analysed information

Have a passion for building fun, cool and safe communities.
Have some experience of working with kids online or offline
Have excellent copywriting skills in Finnish and English. Other languages (like Swedish) are a plus.
Have knowledge of graphics editing software in order to adapt community and marketing art assets to different channels
Are fluent in operating with social media platforms, esp. kid focused channels like TikTok
Have some experience in community management, engagement marketing campaigns, and online event management, for example from the gaming industry. SEO and ASO knowledge are a plus.
Possibly have some pedagogic background. Experience from the food industry is a plus.
Have an entrepreneurial mindset. You are self driven and able to handle some early-stage startup pressure.
