We are therefore looking for a Senior Backend Developer with 4+ years experience in developing scalable web applications.

What you will do

• Take responsibility of designing and implementing a roadmap to further modernize our backend services

• Maintain and improve our existing backend services

• Design and develop backend solutions for new features

• Provide technical support for our customer service

We have a modern technology stack consisting of Nuxt (Vue.js) frontend applications communicating via REST API with Laravel (PHP) backend. Services are hosted on Vercel and AWS. We are constantly testing new technologies to keep our stack fresh.

Who you are

• You have excellent knowledge of modern PHP and Laravel

• You have used container orchestration systems like Kubernetes (EKS)

• You have experience in multiple AWS services including RDS, S3, SQS

• You are familiar with building REST APIs

• A plus if you have experience in building microservices

• A plus if you have knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like Nuxt.js or React

• Speak and write fluent Finnish and English
