Startup Norway is looking for a Project Manager on Circular Economy that will lead our existing Nordic collaboration project on Circular Economy: LOOP. With this initiative, we aim to create more Circular Economy projects in large corporations and challenge them to do this in partnership with startups with new innovative solutions and business ideas.

The role

Startup Norway is looking for a Project Manager on Circular Economy that will lead our existing Nordic collaboration project on Circular Economy: LOOP. Startup Norway is on a mission to develop a world-class startup ecosystem by supporting ambitious entrepreneurs and their supporters to succeed. With the Circular Economy Initiative, we strive to help more Startups and Corporates meet and engage with each other's solutions and needs for Circular Economy. With the initiative we aim to create more Circular Economy projects in large corporations, and challenge them to do this in partnership with startups with new innovative solutions and business ideas.

As the Project Manager - Circular Economy of Startup Norway

You will:

• Be a spokesperson for Circular Economy 

• Sell and develop new Circular Economy projects with new corporate partners and startups in Norway and the Nordics 

• Have a key responsibility in leading and managing our existing Nordic collaboration project on Circular Economy: LOOP 

• Work closely with our project partners and Startup Norway management team on project planning and reporting

• Build and maintain relationships with Nordic corporations and startups working towards sustainability and circular economy. 

• Grow our existing Nordic circular economy community by bringing new partners into the project

• Create proposals and product descriptions, and maintain a dialogue with potential partners to identify new opportunities.

• Shape and create new circular economy initiatives

• Organise events, workshops and webinars on the topic 

You are:

• sales oriented by nature

• the best of both worlds: analytical and relational, strategic and hands-on, rational and emotional, purpose and profit driven, and you understand both the corporate and the startup world.

• great at creating real human relationships

• skilled from minimum 3 years of relevant work experience. 

• interested in corporate innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

• the kind of person who always thinks win-win and brings to the table the customer perspective.

• experienced with project management. 

• a person with proficiency in English, orally and written. Norwegian is a plus, but it is not required. 

• ideally, a person with experience from working in a corporate innovation unit or a startup in topics related to Circular Economy
