Freelancebit is a freelance marketplace with low fees. On it, freelancers can upload gigs to sell a service and or offer it free-of-charge, and clients can seek out freelancers for any type of task either by searching for a gig and or by uploading a project. Volunteer and internship positions at Freelancebit comes with no commitment, no required work hours, and the freedom to pick your own tasks.

This is a remote volunteer or internship position.

Are you an ambitious, well structured, and perhaps talented UI/UX designer? You are a visual genius (or close enough) and a fine UI Graphical Designer with experience or potential in designing UI for web applications and websites.

Responsibilities

• Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and existing website;

• Identify new product improvement opportunities;

• Wire-framing your ideas and presenting them to your team leader;

• Analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences;

• Stay up to date on current industry trends and market conditions.

Requirements

• Graduation and or experienced in the field of visual web design;

• Experience with graphic apps such as Figma, Illustrator, Sketch, Principle, or other design applications;

• Working knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, and Web standards and usability;

• Extensive experience with Sketch.

You are 

• You can work independently and feel comfortable structuring your own time with necessarily little oversight;

• You have the ability to translate spoken ideas and rough wireframes into appealing web app design and user experience;

• You are a strong communicator, comfortable with working remotely and or in person;

• You’re excited about new challenges in web app development;

• Passion for design; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve;

• Creative problem-solving skills;

• Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences;

• A smile on your face.
