The role

As our Head of Legal, you will be part of the central operations team at our HQ. Operations is in charge of ensuring all our business units, departments, teams and individuals have the support they need to deliver their goals. For legal, this entails developing, maintaining, updating and assisting in the negotiations of agreements, tending to legal and formal matters for our various entities. It also includes dealing with any litigations as well as assisting the compliance and risk team on matters related to law and regulations research and making legal opinions as requested.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility

• Ownership of all agreements from developing, monitoring and updating our standard agreements to dealing with custom agreements

• Legal advice to all functions in the company as requested

• Ownership and management of our data room (formal agreement, employment, financial etc records archive)

• Assist Compliance with monitoring of regulatory changes

• Assist the company and its administration in dealing with investors, fundraising, M&A and formal tasks, including board material, general assembly and related tasks

Required skills and experience

• Master Degree in Law 

• Experience from contractual law preferably in the field of Finance and/or IT

• International experience is a plus

• Excellent communication skills in English, both writing and speaking

• You are structured, tidy and self motivated to get on top of your backlog
