MARKETING MANAGER

REPORTING TO: Commercial Director

LOCATION: Lisburn HQ with flexible working options

About the Role

This is a new role in Stormharvester, created to lead on brand and product awareness, customer acquisition and ultimately revenue.

Through effective sales and marketing, we aim to grow our business and capitalise on our ability to solve problems through deployment of our technology.

This new role will be critical to our brand visibility is an exciting opportunity to join an early phase company and shape its future marketing strategy and plans. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy and tactical plans to achieve defined company objectives and in line with marketing budgets;

  • Develop and implement a digital strategy including all social media to create brand and product awareness;

  • Devise content for customer communications and the website e.g. product messaging, case studies, white papers, blogs etc;

  • Responsible for all in-bound and out-bound marketing, including management of marketing campaigns to target industry segments both domestically and internationally;

  • Managing specialist sub-contractors appointed to help with marketing collateral and campaigns;

  • Assist in building relationships with prospective customers and partners across a range of industry categories;

  • Support sales by developing high impact sales collateral;

  • Develop, present and deliver high-impact presentations both online and in-person;

  • Representing the company at relevant industry events and conferences;

  • Create market intelligence through appropriate market research, data capture, surveys, papers, user/focus groups etc;

  • Maintain up to date knowledge on the competitive landscape;

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the product, domain and industry trends;

  • Research and recommend ROI-focused marketing (customer acquisition and retention) tools, processes, and strategies;

  • All other duties appropriate to the role and as directed by the Commercial Director.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Marketing or relevant professional marketing qualification

  • 8 years’ B2B marketing experience in marketing including marcomms, digital marketing and campaigns

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience in the use of a number of CRMs and other digital marketing tools

  • Proven ability to write content and marketing material

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations

  • SEO experience

  • Proven experience across multiple social media platforms

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative

Desirable Criteria

  • 10 years’ experience in marketing management

  • Experience of working in tech start-ups

  • Experience of marketing to utilities

  • Experience of marketing to the construction/building management sectors

  • Specific experience of using LinkedIn Ad Manager and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and target specific audiences
