About the role

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven, and analytical Global Head of Marketing to help define and deliver a best in class multi-channel Marketing strategy across our markets in the US and Europe. 

 

This position will be in charge of tailoring and executing the ViaBill marketing strategy while prioritizing and optimizing the key levers for growing our business.

 

This is a critical role as it interfaces between ViaBill users B2C and our e-commerce partners B2B to cultivate the ViaBill brand and build demand for the service. This position calls for a combination of strategic planning and analytics, business development, marketing, and leadership so you should love solving problems, thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a deep understanding of the technical (SEO, SEM, SOME), and above all be passionate about growth.

As our Global Head of Marketing, you will manage a strong marketing team that currently consists of a Head of Digital Marketing, Head of CRM Marketing, Graphic Designer and two part-time Marketing Assistants.

Reporting to the CCO, you will:

 

  • Act as a strategic thought partner to our CCO on building the marketing strategy covering social media and content, including content mix, partner content, and on-site event coverage.

  • Define the strategy, develop campaigns across channels for success based on consumer insights and competitive context and align key stakeholders.

  • Build high-quality toolkits to scale marketing programs, create and set processes that address local needs in a standardized manner.

  • Execute, manage and support a wide variety of local marketing campaign requests across media.

  • Develop and implement tactical plans and day-to-day activities of marketing initiatives/campaigns.

  • Manage the overall social media content calendar and execute against it, including developing content concepts from idea to completion, scheduling posts and reacting to users

  • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key social media influencers, freelance photographers and videographers, etc.

  • Consistently increase our following, impressions and engagement as the byproduct of sharing our brand story, and determine how to elevate messaging

  • Monitor and engage a high level of community engagement with followers, including shares/retweets, likes and comments. Identify opportunities to engage with the audience in innovative ways and use the existing network to spread our message wider

  • Create weekly and monthly quantitative and qualitative reports. Utilize these analytics to optimize and measure ROI across all channels

 

What we're looking for

 

  • You have significant work experience within lifecycle marketing, digital marketing, and multi-channel programs, social media

  • You have experience in planning and executing retention activities with the capability to measure, analyze and communicate ROI of customer campaigns

  • You have a strong interest in new marketing technologies, information technology, and trends

  • Growth hacking - You know how to meticulously unpack the key levers for growing a business through keen analysis and scientific experimentation.

  • A bias for data - You naturally take a scientific and highly analytical approach to everything you do.  You have experience leading a data-driven marketing strategy using a wide range of available quantitative insights (surveys, focus groups, A/B testing, ad-hoc analysis…)

  • You demonstrate strong strategy and analytics skills, with a solid understanding of success metrics and what drives customer lifetime

  • You have strong leadership skills and have experience with working in small teams

  • You have proven the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results, working both strategically and tactically

  • You have a passion for customer data and have a commitment to action-oriented analysis and a keen focus on the customer experience

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in a related field is required
