The Challenge:

You have a strong passion for creative tools, software development, game engines, and want to be part of the upcoming ecosystem of content creation in immersive environments. Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality are known territory for you, and new immersive content creation tools such as Lens Studio, Spark AR and Torch AR, spark up your curiosity.

You are highly interested in working with 3D content creation and development. As a Chief Technology Officer, you will be accountable for all the technical innovation-related issues at Sense of Space, like developing technical innovation plans and including them in the technical improvements of the company. You will be part of the core team and will report to the CEO of the company.

Location:

Helsinki, Finland. Remote work within Finland.

What you will do:

• Develop 3D tools with a multi-platform component.

• Collaborate in the design and feature selection.

• Set requirements for the technical progression of Sense of Space and lead staff for its fulfilment.

• Gather innovative and skilled experts to form a plan and execute it successfully.

• Lead employees of the organization in all technical functioning of the company.

• Develop new technological innovations at Sense of Space for effective working.

• Manage all the IT relevant concerns of Sense of Space, like computer systems and servers.

• Maintain excellent cultural connections with stakeholders, investors, and the immersive market.

• Review the code committed to git :)

  
  

You have:

• Strong C++ skills, with C++11 or higher.

• Experience developing desktop Qt applications in C++.

• Great communication skills in English.

• At least one of:

  • Experience developing 3D tools (game tools or engine development, VFX, CAD, scientific visualization).

  • Familiarity with OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, or other 3D toolkits.

  • Experience in Mobile AR (ARCore and ARKit), and other leading AR/VR platforms.

• Excellent interaction abilities and discussion skills.

• Ability to think imaginatively to be able to develop new programs for the company.

• Ability to deal with time well.

• Ability to keep touching the newest improvements in volumetric video capture innovation and apply them in the company.

  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience or interests in volumetric video and photogrammetry.

• Experience using OpenSceneGraph.

• Experience with character animation and VFX technologies.

• Experience with mobile development.
