Lawbotics AS is Norway’s leading legal tech startup on a mission to close the gap between legal knowledge and legal need in order to bring legal certainty to everyone. Lexolve will utilise modern software and AI to help SMEs carry out business legal processes  more efficiently and affordably. Lexolve already enables anyone to create smart and dynamic legal templates that can be applied in common situations, without the need for a legal expert.  Soon we will build a cutting edge Machine Learning and NLP platform for legal data. This platform will allow us to offer even more features to SMEs such as proactive legal advice, predicting future outcomes and automated support during contract negotiations.

Responsibilities 

• Contribute to design and implementation of excellent, reliable, well-tested and maintainable software

• Contribute to architecture and technology choices that balance development speed,  scalability, security and ML

• Deliver software components across our technology stack (full stack)

• Partake in code reviews and contribute to technical discussion and whiteboard sessions

• Keep up to date with the latest development approaches, AI and cloud stacks

• Contribute to a great DevSecMLOps culture

• Communicate effectively with fellow non technical team members to ensure understanding and transparency

Qualifications 

• You have 2+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer

• Production level development skills in a major language (JS, Java, Python, Go)

• A plus is if you know the law industry, but not a requirement

• High proficiency in English is a prerequisite, Norwegian is an asset.
