Ubuntu Biz is looking for a committed and ambitious Web Development Intern to work on our website using WordPress.

The main area you will be working on is creating a new website for Ubuntu Biz.

🤝 About You

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, WordPress & JavaScript

• Responsive design experience

• Experience creating graphics from scratch using Photoshop/Illustrator or similar software

• At least basic understanding of on-page SEO best practices

• Knowledge of Sketch, Adobe XD and Balsamiq

• Knowledge of web analytics and experience implementing and testing scripts

• You are an aesthetic-minded and creative person

• You are organized and a team player

• Fluent in written and spoken English (Danish is not a requirement but advantageous)

✅ Things You’ll Be Doing 

• You will be challenged to both DESIGN and BUILD WordPress based landing pages

• Experience with front-end tools like Elementor etc

• Hands-on development of our services/products and website, which includes the development of HTML/CSS and web pages based on wireframes and visual designs, and implementation of commercial and open-source web technologies

• Development of dynamic and engaging web functionality using HTML, JavaScript and Angular

• Turn Photoshop or Adobe XD mockups into responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS, and Javascript

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Work closely with our design team to produce landing pages and subpages in WordPress

• Thoroughly test your work on multiple browsers and mobile devices

• Rapidly prototype ideas in order to learn what works and how to elevate concepts to the next level
