Vitasim provides evidence based educational software for training in virtual reality(VR), and we are seeking a competent Full Stack Web developer to help us develop a new lightweight content management system (CMS) to accompany our VR products.
The job
You will be the technical lead and sole developer on a CMS that ties all our VR solutions together in a nice and clean browser-based interface for our clients. You will report directly to the startup founders in a flat hierarchy company that values independent, innovative, and driven employees. You are free to work remotely or out of our office in Videnbyen, Odense with the rest of our team. your main tasks will be:
System design
Database structuring and maintenance
Back-end development
Front-end web development (In collaboration with our in-house designer)
Documentation of the solution.
Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
The candidate
The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, building, and deploying full-stack web solutions and relevant education in the field (BSc./MSc. Software development, PBA Web developer, etc.). Candidates currently studying a relevant education are also of interest.
We expect that you are comfortable working on the following technologies:
HTML and CSS
MySQL, NoSQL, or similar
PHP, C#, Javascript (or alternatively React.js, Angular.js, node.js, or similar).
Google Cloud Platform(GCP) API’s
Network infrastructure and API’s
Design patterns such as MVC and HMVC, etc.
We are a young and innovative startup that values the insight of competent people, and you will, therefore, be given the freedom to lead the technical solution of the project - within the limitations of our client's needs.
The terms
The employment terms are flexible and can be discussed in more detail during the interview. However, we need the first version of the CMS to be up and running within 1-2 months. whether the project is solved in 1 month working full time, 1,5 months working part-time or in 2 months by working 10-15 hours a week is up to you. Once the CMS is finished we expect the position to continue as part-time or on a flexible hourly wage contract.
