QP Games ApS is looking for a talented Backend developer with DevOps experience to join our growing team in Copenhagen as soon as possible. We are working on the multiplayer games for smartphones, launched in 10 different languages and with 250k daily active users. We are a small team of 5 in Copenhagen, 3 in Cypress and 1 in Berlin working with partners in the US. The main goal is to develop our app to a global leading game within the word genre and we need your help to do so.

You will be working closely with our CTO and the rest of our engineering team when working on new features and solving problems. 

Responsibilities

• Improving existing functionalities of the backend.

• New backend game features

• Improving the test environment

• Optimizing Database queries and performance

• Create and maintain internal tools for support, operations and management.

Requirements

• Javascript Development 

• Event-driven backends

• NoSQL databases

• Experience with Amazon Web Services

• CI/CD development

• You are someone who has at least a few years of experience with executing many of the tasks mentioned above

• The ability to collaborate with clients and team members

• Good linguistics (English is a must, A scandinavian language is a plus) and inter-cultural skill

Other relevant skills or experiences could be; Game Development, Google Firebase, Bash Scripting, Angular Framework, Mobile/App Development.
