What we are looking for

A collaborative, creative, and highly organized specialist to join our team as a Production Specialist. You will be responsible for all aspects of production and logistics while collaborating with our management team in product development.

What you will do

• Support development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the company's products

• Keep constant contact with current partner suppliers and factories

• Constantly find new potential suppliers to improve the product quality, costs, and production lead time

• Ensure that assigned vendors meet production and time requirements

• Assess and report on suppliers’ performance

• Travel to production sites (China and Vietnam) and supervise the production processes

  
  

The ideal candidate has:

• Absolute fluency in English (no Finnish required)

• Fluency in Mandarin or/and Vietnamese

• Experience in working with vendor sourcing, procurement, logistics, international trade or similar work experience

• Willing to travel internationally whenever needed

  
  

It would be a plus if you also have:

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, Google Apps

• Strong knowledge of sourcing and manufacturing processes for apparel, especially footwear
