The Position

As Lead Data Scientist, you will communicate with our clients and the product team to ensure our AI models meet customer needs; and work closely with data engineers, developers, and other data scientists to deliver AI-based cloud applications.

Your Background

You have a solid theoretical background of machine learning and ample work experience in all aspects of data science, including data preparation, visualization, predictive modelling, and validation. Fluency in Finnish is a pre-requisite for this position.

Our ideal candidate has:

• An academic degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or similar field

• 4+ years professional experience in developing and validating machine learning algorithms, such as image analysis, classification, regression, or time series analysis

• Advanced Python programming skills with machine learning libraries such as numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch, OpenCV

• Experience deploying and running a prediction system in a Linux environment

• Proficiency in Finnish and English

• Leadership experience 

The following skills will be an advantage:

• Good command of SQL 

• Experience analyzing Geospatial Data

• DevOps / Docker / Cloud Computing
