Textual is a unique platform for text generation that is used by online retailers, such as Babyshop, NA-KD, John Lewis, and Jollyroom, to create and optimise product descriptions, category pages, ads and similar content for their websites. Textual also offers translation services for other types of digital and print content such as newsletters, press releases, SOME, product manuals, etc.

We are currently experiencing high demand for translations and are looking for a bilingual linguist and translation coordinator to join our growing team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-demand translation, review and QA tasks

• Verify new terms and keep terminology up to date

• Support the Translation Manager in daily activities

• Help to coordinate translation projects 

• Interact with team members on linguistic matters as required 

Essential skills and experience:

• Proficiency on a native/bilingual level in two of the following languages Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Swedish 

• Proficiency in English

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Understanding of translation industry and CAT-tools 

• Very good Microsoft Office skills

Nice to haves

• Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Communication or similar

• Experience in translation project management 

• Experience in terminology verification processes
