(SENIOR) HARDWARE ENGINEER

WORK DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for (SENIOR) ELECTRONICS ENGINEERto design, implement, monitor and lead HW and quality of in-house product development and customer IoT hardware projects.  This job can be ongoing, hourly, fixed term or contract based. We are looking for talented product maker and are flexible to adapt to also your availability.

As a (SENIOR) ELECTRONICSENGINEER  you will get to make IoT hardware designs independently, review existing designs, identify potential issues in design iterations, review schematics and layout. In addition you are also expected to handle component sourcing activities.

In this position you will be working closely with in-house, customer and subcontractor experts getting things connected. We offer you relaxed working environment and very interesting challenges to work on.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate has vast electronic product maker experience preferable from mass-production projects and also understands product certification processes.

• Background education in electronics engineering or embedded systems

• Experience of making connected products (please list your experience to us)

• Used PCB design software such as Altium, PADS, KiCad etc.

• Component sourcing experience

• Hands on person familiar on troubleshooting things with oscilloscope, soldering parts, meters etc required issue solving

• You consider yourself as a maker

• Familiar with interfaces i2c, spi, uart, can, wifi, gps, cellular bands

• You will get additional plus if you also can program firmware and implement mechanical concepts with 3D tools

• Finnish language is preferred
