VOID International Animation Film Festival (VOID IAFF) is building the new team to bring to life the 6th edition of the festival in February 2021. Therefore VOID IAFF is seeking the new Head of Sponsors & Partners. Is that you?

The Head of Sponsors & Partners will help to conceive, design, and implement the new sponsorships & partnerships strategy as well as to develop the commercial profile of the festival in consultation with Festival Director and Festival Manager. Additionally, s/he will play a key role in engaging with the local embassies. 

This is a year-round, part-time, unpaid position with starting time as soon as possible. 

The Head of Sponsors & Partners will be an integral part of a team that produces a kick-ass international event.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement Sponsorships & Partnerships strategy as well as key revenue metrics

• Identify and secure international/national corporate sponsors and in-kind donations from local businesses

• Review corporate partnership trends and identify opportunities

• Organize on-site sponsorship fulfillment

• Create and manage partnerships proposals and contracts

• Provide partner stewardship, including management of partnership agreements, follow up and ongoing evaluation of partnerships

• Maintains contact lists and records of existing & previous sponsors in partnership (CRM)

• Track results and create post-festival reports for sponsors and partners

• Provide post-festival analysis, budget recap and sponsors & partners feedback for future internal use

• Work closely with the programming team to identify relevant fundraising opportunities with embassies and local organization

• Support the Communication & PR by providing key info the sponsorships & partnerships agreements

Complementary tasks:

• Participate in strategic planning, including developing and meeting annual budget and audience attendance goals

• Help promote VOID IAFF, its events, and programs

• At times, offer content for VOID IAFF social media and website

• Help with administrative tasks related to the Festival

• Document and formalize processes

• Able to interact in an effective, tactful and professional manner

• Self-starter

• Excellent oral and written communications skills in both English and Danish

• Detail-oriented, organized, motivated 

• Curious, collaborative, adaptable

• +1 year experience in a similar position

• Interested in event management, sponsorship, and/or non-profit management.

About VOID IAFF

VOID Copenhagen is a non-profit organization that every year arranges the VOID International Animation Film Festival in Copenhagen, DK.

The festival is a 10-day long celebration of independent filmmaking in animation and every year it takes charge of fostering diversity in animation by bringing to the big screen the weird, the mind-blowing, the poetic, the unexpected.

The festival born in 2015 has since then been run completely by volunteers who share the same strong passion for the art and craft of animation and ambition to showcase more world-class animated storytelling.
