As a Financial Controller, you will look after the company’s day- to-day financial activities, In addition to financial and statutory controlling your role also combines aspects from managerial accounting. You also coordinate our payroll activities and many of the day-to-day admin tasks. You will work closely with our CEO and CFO and other members of the Silo.AI team. This a permanent position is based in Silo.AI Helsinki or Turku office, you can choose your home office! Travel between the two offices is required regularly.

Your main responsibilities:

• Close cooperation with our accounting agency to ensure quality and accuracy

• Coordination with payroll provider on all payroll activities

• Analysing and preparing financial statements, including profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and statements of financial position

• Preparing monthly P&L and Cashflow estimates

• Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decision making

• Preparing documents for internal and external audits

• Audit support

• Assisting with the preparation of regulatory reports in compliance with regulations

• and instructions

• Participation in budgeting

• Producing sales invoices and maintaining accounts receivable

• Cost controlling and accounts payable

• Work equipment and supplier coordination

• Leading and participating in reporting related development initiatives

We wish you to have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting and preparing financial statements

• Understanding of payroll principles, related legislation, tax and other stakeholders

• Some knowledge of international accounting and finance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience using ERP systems

• Ability to perform highly detailed work with tight deadlines and independently without supervision
