Venuu is looking for a junior Marketer to help us launch and grow our business in Spain. The job is based in Helsinki. Read more below.

Venuu = “Airbnb of event spaces”, the biggest event venue booking service in Finland and Sweden, currently expanding to new markets. Over 6000 spaces listed. Venuu.fi / Venuu.se / Venuu.com.

In short:

• The job: Online marketing and customer acquisition for the Spanish market. Executing our SEO-driven expansion strategy. Your main task is to make sure Spanish event organisers find us online.

• Requirements: Great writing skills. Structured and well-organised approach. Ability to learn fast. Ambition. Good communication skills. Humor. Big heart.

• Language: Spanish as a native language: all your customers will be in Spain. English as it’s our company language. Catalan is a plus. No Finnish required.

• Start: Mid-April.

• Working hours: Full-time.

• €€€: TBD.

• Office: Helsinki centre.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Online marketing: SEO, content creation, forming partnerships with industry professionals, social media. As our operations grow, there’s a possibility to further broaden your role and take on new responsibilities.

• You work towards your own marketing goals, but together with other members of the Spanish country team. We all follow the same strategy and share the same dream, that is, make Venuu YUGE in Spain. 🔥

What we wish for:

• You write well. We’ll help you with all the technical matters but great writing-skills are needed. ✍️

• You have an eye for design when it comes to both images and text layout. Photoshop skills are not mandatory, but considered a plus.

• You’re good friends with data, analytics and metrics. Or at least you have a keen interest in learning from it. 📊

• Fast-paced work suits you – juggling a great number of things simultaneously is what your brain is built for.

• Previous relevant work experience is not a must, ambition, attitude, and a desire to learn are.

• Spanish language at a native level (written and spoken) and good command of English. Catalan is considered a plus. Finnish is not required.

• You’re a good fit for the Spanish team and appreciate a great work culture.

Especially suitable for:

• A Spanish person already located in Helsinki or willing to relocate at a very quick schedule.

• A young professional with 1-2 years of work experience, willing to unleash their potential, learn new skills, and work towards ambitious goals. 💪

• A good writer with some previous experience with blogs, journalism or other writing-related field, who’d now like to utilise their skills in growing a business.

• Someone with a burning interest in marketing, customer acquisition, growth hacking, content creation, and/or joining a growing startup.
