We are changing students’ lives for the better. We created the first mobile student ID in Finland and today our app has over 80,000 monthly active users all around the country. We serve more than 1000 student discount campaigns from over 500 partners. We also have an API product called Frank Connect for student verification. Come help us build new products for our student users in Finland!

As we are looking to grow in Finland and internationally, we are now recruiting two Junior/Senior Full stack Developers.

Your main responsibilities will be

• Full stack development of the serverless Frank App with React and AWS cloud services

• Long term architecture and lifecycle design with the rest of the development team, depending on your level of seniority

• Working together with the rest of Frank's team to deliver a great service for the students

We at Frank believe in learning by doing, but for this position, you should already have experience in:

• Developing and maintaining existing scalable systems on ES6 and/or TypeScript

• Working in a diverse multi-talent team

• Development lifecycle from design to implementation, testing and maintenance

We also expect that you:

• Understand user stories and business requirements set out by a product owner (and perhaps even the business behind them)

• Want to create a great UX for the end-users

• Have good verbal and written communication skills

• Are fluent in English, possibly also in Finnish

• Have the desire to learn and develop further as part of our team

The following are considered a plus:

• Have experience in developing cloud-based scalable solutions

• Know what Cordova is and what challenges it poses

• Know what GraphQL is and are eager to try it out in production

• Have experience in developing mobile responsive UIs on React Native
