Fruit-up is a social impact start-up. We increase the income of cashew farmers in rural communities in Africa by turning the cashew apple waste stream into valuable food ingredients. We're developing sustainable snacks from this waste and looking for a passionate food product developer.

We are looking for a passionate foodie who can help develop our cashew apple fruit-snack. This would include:

• Market research (identify trends, target groups)

• Food product development (recipes, flavor combinations, and prototyping)

• Testing and evaluation (with experts and consumers)

• Nutrition and health 

• Sales

We think it’s important to have the same goals in mind, therefore you should:

• Care about social impact (increasing value for small scale cashew farmers in Africa)

• Passionate about creating sustainable solutions

Furthermore, we would appreciate an entrepreneurial profile, who can work independently and ready to take on different (and less exciting) tasks.

The position is unpaid. Equity can be negotiated.
