Our client is a high load video conferencing platform. Earlier this year they reached a million minutes of video conferencing going through its platform every hour. That's video and audio being decoded, mixed and encoded in real time on more than 4,000 virtual machines all around the world.

Our client is a high load video conferencing platform. Earlier this year they reached a million minutes of video conferencing going through its platform every hour. That's video and audio being decoded, mixed and encoded in real time on more than 4,000 virtual machines all around the world.

Currently we are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join the team in Oslo, Norway. As a member of the web team you will be a fundamental part of building video meeting and collaboration applications for web and desktop using WebRTC, Typescript, Electron and React.

Requirements

Candidate Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript or TypeScript

• Familiar with HTML and CSS

• Comfortable working in a team and solve problems together

• Responsible and want to be proud of the code you write

Not required but definite bonuses

• Experience with TypeScript, React/Redux, WebRTC or WebSockets

• Experience in profiling and optimizing code

• You have serious Nerf gun skills
