The Digital Risk division of Proofpoint is working in a new and exciting space that is evolving very rapidly. We are developing solutions and services that protect companies outside of their controlled infrastructure. This team is developing solutions for Social Media, Web, Dark Web, and other external vectors. This space has many challenges and we are looking for the most talented and passionate team members to come join us. You will be doing the following:

• Working on Risk assessments

• Creating automation of various tasks

• Analyzing detection information and prioritizing it

• Working on taking down malicious infrastructure

• Tuning detections with the tools and process we provide

Your Current Super-Skills

• Security Analysis mindset

• Python development

• Web services development

Your Superhero Profile

You have the ability and interest in working (30 hours/week) in our Belfast, NI office and are currently on track to achieve 2:1 degree classification upon graduation (2020 new college grads also eligible). This Placement Year internship is scheduled to begin immediately and run through August 2020.
