Lydify will offer a self-sustainable marketplace for sound effects. This sound effect “eco-system” is possible by rewarding artists by their number of downloads. In addition, Lydify simplifies end-users video creation experience, by allowing them to preview sound effects on their videos, right on the platform.

As a back-end developer, you primary task will be to work in collaboration with the CTO with the goal of creating an online platform that supports a marketplace for buying and selling audio.

You will be expected to be able to work roughly 15 hours a week and preferably join us at our office for a full day once a week, where we can learn from each other and have fun while doing so!

Requirements:

  • Experience in building REST API back-end. Either in school or in a work setting. Language doesn't matter, but Node.js is a plus.

Nice-to-have:

  • If you have experience with sound and especially how to program sound, that would be awesome!

  • Experience with deploying web-applications.

Other than that, just apply, and hopefully we're a match!

Working at
Lydify

Lydify is an online marketplace for independent jewellery designers. Small scale and independent creators lack a scene where they can display their work. Currently, most jewellers have to operate on Instagram, as a primary platform, which can work, however, creating a marketplace as seen in other fashion industries, can increase reach, introduce new customer segments and alleviate designers of administrative tasks. We are at an early stage, currently finishing the platform. It is scheduled to be complete by the end of january.
