We are looking for a sporty SoMe comms talent who loves tech! Motosumo is a group fitness solution powered by smartphones! Developed by a sterling team of astrophysicists, engineers, and math geniuses (nerds), our app connects everyone in a group fitness workout, tracks data, and is packed with tons of games and cool features. We love our team here in Copenhagen and we need your help to continue growing!
You are:
A social media and digital native who loves communicating, writing and playing with words and visuals. You are a great storyteller and have a keen eye for design and targeted communications and you know how to use tools like Adobe, Photoshop, Indesign, video to spice it all up. You like interacting digitally but are also comfortable face to face or on the phone with customers and stakeholders. Ideally, you’re familiar with the world of fitness, maybe even a bit of a group fitness or indoor cycling nerd yourself.
About you:
You have 1-2 years left in your studies (preferably a Master’s student, but don’t be afraid to apply if you are still in your Bachelors!).You study communications/marketing/journalism.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and would thrive in a tech start-up culture.
You can work 15-20 hours a week.
You love and understand the world of PR, storytelling, and marketing.
You have experience with social media, SoMe management platforms, digital and online content marketing/PR and analysis.
You are fluent in English (native speaker preferred).
You can work independently, follow guidelines and have a proactive vibe.
Bonus: You have experience with and are interested in video and photo editing.
Your level of responsibility will grow as you show results. We promise that no two days are the same. Besides the Communications team, you get to work with a group of dedicated, sports and tech nerds who are always learning and sharing new things. It will be hectic, fun and challenging!
Responsibilities:
Support the existing Communications team. Activities could range from preparing social media posts (stories, images, videos, text, etc.) to supporting other digital and offline communications, marketing, PR, and customer communication.
Develop and tweak content for our SoMe channels – i.e. creating and posting content with supporting visuals to help us best reach our main segments and followers and influencers.
Manage our social media: That means regular updates across several channels. We like to get personal, interact with and create connections with our customers and followers.
Generate new ideas! While we have a solid identity, we are always looking for new ways to spice up our communications, marketing and visuals. So, share away, brainstorm, and don’t be afraid to get creative.
Learn how to growth hack social media! We might be a startup, but we have a pretty clear idea of our identity. However, we want to make sure the rest of the world knows it, too.
We might ask you to sometimes get out of your comfort zone, so be prepared to be challenged, but don’t be afraid to ask for help. We are here for you and we want you to love being a part of the Motosumo team!
