Enhanden is a day-to-day knowledge acquisition platform. It’s a place for people to stay up-to-date, gain new knowledge, collaborate and grow in their fields of interest. Enhanden integrates, connects and structures content from the internet(blogs, news, information, articles etc) and provide to users with the tools, intelligence and personalisation to follow their fields of interests and gain knowledge on a daily basis.

Job Description

In the current product development phase from an MVP to a full version, we are looking for an awesome person to join our team in developing the backend systems of our platform.

You will mainly take part in developing the backend services like Microservices, APIs, Data Queues, Content Extraction systems, Database drivers etc… together with our developers.

The position is for a temporary part-time employment for a period of 5-6 months with a high possibility to convert into full-time employment later.

You will receive an individual monthly salary and get the chance to join us in our exciting journey to grow the company and change the world of day-to-day learning and knowledge growth.

Skills & Requirements

It is important that you are a technically knowledgeable person in software systems that will be able to have a basic understanding of our technical platform as a whole.

As we are a startup with a small team, you are expected to take responsibility and initiative and grow both personally and professionally. There is a plenty of room to learn new technologies, methods and implement some state of the art systems.

Python, Relational Databases, Web Development, API Development, REST, Message Queuing, Scraping, NoSQL, Cloud Systems(Google cloud/AWS/Microsoft Azure), Git, Unix/Linux environment

Low priority skills(basic knowledge of): 

Microservices, DevOps processes, Docker & Kubernetes

Good to have skills: 

Web Data Formats and content-types, Data Modelling, Javascript
