With a team of highly competent colleagues, inQvation actively engages in start-ups and contributes to the development of each company by providing support within marketing, technical development, legal services, recruitment and more. inQvation operates in three business segments; a Studio setup where we develop and grow start-ups from scratch. A Build setup where we invest actively in start-ups by adding resources and capital for strong founder teams with great potential, and last but not least a Hub with a vibrant, physical workspace for the entrepreneurs to work in.

About the role

inQvation Studio is looking for an experienced, creative frontend developer with great energy and drive to help us achieve our mission. You will contribute to our team and play a key role mixing design of experiments, prototypes, MVP's etc. as well as utilizing your frontend development skills. To you, anything and everything is possible, and you love all aspects of the process from the conceptual idea to relentless execution getting your work out there and getting feedback from the end users.

Each of us bring our specific expertise and know-how to the party, and we would expect that you will make your mark and contribute to our start-up projects by:

• Working hands-on in putting shape and form to our ideas from the first experiment to the MVP utilizing your preferred suite of frameworks and platforms.

• Taking ownership of the development and quality assurance of every experiment we launch in the Studio team and secure timely follow-up.

• Assisting in analyzing data and feedback from users and provide input to suggested next steps towards creating a new start-up.

• Project managing and collaborating on select projects with world-class external partners.

• Contributing to the development and qualification of ideas to help ensure a strong pipeline of Studio start-up projects at all times.

• Assisting our inQvation portfolio companies when they need your help on specific tasks. 

• Accumulating knowledge, best practices and learnings in order to continuously build our team’s capability. 

• Being the technical wizard of our Studio team and work closely together with the inQvation Tech team.

What we expect from you

We always strive to have an open mind about people. You are no exception to the rule. Your background can be anything from self-taught to a Ph.D. and beyond, starting out or hugely experienced, freelancer or from a corporate background. Feel free to surprise us. If we were to put it into words, we would expect you to:

• Have at least two years of hands-on experience as a frontend developer and with a deep understanding of HTML and CSS. JavaScript is a bonus.

• Have at least one favorite framework (ex Angular, React) that makes your life a whole lot easier and enables you to get your work out fast.

• Have UI/UX knowledge.

• Be a master of WordPress or at least be open to becoming it.

• Have an ’always testing’ mindset.

• Showcase a 'can do'-attitude being both a great starter and an even better finisher.

• Be curious at heart and always willing to learn and be inspired. 

• Be a positive, (mostly) smiling addition to our team and be a Team player with a capital T.

• Have lots of ambition and looking for a cool place to let it all out.
