Danish Fintech Matter is looking for a versatile full stack developer with a front-end focus

We are looking for an experienced web application developer who wants the chance to work on the world’s first digital platform for sustainable pension. Ideally, you are skilled and experienced in frontend, but also comfortable with coding for the backend. If you are looking for a job full of purpose, we are a passionate team of friendly developers, economists, creatives and social scientists who can’t wait to meet you in our office on Nørrebro, Copenhagen.

The opportunity

You will be working collaboratively with the rest of the engineering team as well as with our Head of Product to drive implementation and release of the new platform.  We are building widgets and modular components for dashboards that can be integrated into our own and partner web services. Experience in developing such systems is a big plus. You need to be proficient in a reactive programming framework (we use Vue, but ReactJS is also welcome) and know how to set up and interact with OAuth endpoints. WebPack and Babel are your frenemies. Ideally, you will also be programming simpler parts of the backend, so experience in developing Python or Node backends will be a big plus.

We see this role as an opportunity for you to take ownership over an important part of Matter’s products, so we’re looking for someone who can think on their feet and doesn’t shy away from cracking programming problems in an independent way. Of course, you will also be backed up by our pack of highly skilled and experienced developers, who hope you will also help develop the team.
