Our Client, Vaadin are looking for a Senior Java Developer to strengthen their R&D team at Turku (Finland) HQ. You have accomplished plenty with Java and made enough mistakes to consider yourself experienced. You have a true drive to ship quality code and the team trusts that you will do it professionally. You dare to take long-term ownership of your code base and make technical decisions related to implementation.

-You are able to help juniors in the team with your excellent Java and web development skills, and are passionate about writing maintainable code.

-You get inspired by the developer community and actively seek for user feedback.

-You are familiar with the most common development tools and environments, as well as agile development principles.

Requirements

• Min 5 years professional developer experience 

Key Languages: 

• Main: Java (Java 8 specifically)

• Possibly also Frontend: TypeScript,JavaScript skills

Technologies: GitHub, Reviewable, maven, npm, pnpm, Speedcurve, TeamCity, Travis, Jenkins, Saucelabs, SonatypeConcepts: Spring, CDI, Gradle, Portlet, Polymer 2&3, Web components, Lit elements, PWAVaadin knowledge is a big plus.
