With a great team that consists of 10 skilled members and backed by solid investors Husleie.no is developing the market’s fastest growing and most innovative technology platform for tenancy administration. Our ambitions in Norway and abroad are growing and we are on the lookout for a backend developer that is genuinely interested in web technologies and who finds joy in solving small problems as well as working on bigger projects.

You will become a member of our tech team which consists of front- and backend developers, CTO/ systems architect and product manager. Our team members plays a crucial role in innovating software solutions for the tasks our users has at hand and you will not only be part of, but central in, the product development processes and projects. As a member of our team we know that you have what it takes to build and shape the product that allows us to keep taking giant leaps in the market and leave the competition behind.

Who you are

As the newest member of our team you should have the following skill set: 

• Relevant degree within information technology, but years of relevant experience can compensate for formal education

• Deep understanding of modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 & SASS, ECMAScript and RESTful APIs

• Hosting and maintaining Linux servers

• Systems development of server side hosted applications

Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have experience and/or knowledge with/of;

• configuration and optimizing servers with Ansible

• systems development in Perl, and knowledge of Mojolicious

• Vue.js

• source code revision systems as Git

• building and maintaining Docker-containers

Additional qualifications

• Independent - as well strong team player

• Eager and quickly learns new technology

• Genuinely interested in technology and what works, rather than just trending buzz words 

• Are at home at the CLI

• Takes responsibility, analytical and problem solver.

• Communicate well in English. Norwegian is a plus, but not necessary.
