The beauty industry is booming, but there are still great opportunities within the discovery field. Beaubi is the new platform and community for beauty product recommendations. We aggregate all beauty products to help consumers navigate through the market, see reviews, get personalized recommendations, and inspiration from other users. You could call it a Vivino for beauty. Now we are looking for our next CTO. Will you be a part of changing the fast-growing beauty industry once and for all?

The role:

• Simply put, your task will be to help the Beaubi team build a new kickass beauty tech platform.

• Don't worry - you don't have to know everything about beauty products. This is more about disrupting a big industry. Sounds fun, right?

You are: 

• A driven full-stack developer (We are currently working with NodeJS for backend with MongoDB and ReactJS for frontend with server-side rendering).

• Have you built products or web apps from scratch before? Awesome! Since we are a small team, this role will be very hands on and you will work very operative with the development.

• Do you have a background or an interest in machine learning? Even better! We want to make sure that our platform offers top-class personalized recommendations, so leveraging the right AI tools to achieve that will be an important aspect of your job.

• Maybe you also have experience with team management and leadership? Great. Our goal is to expand our team with more engineers, so setting up efficient dev processes along with managing a small team of engineers will be on your shoulders.

• We'd love it if you are curious, independent, open-minded, and innovative. Like the rest of the team.

• Based in Stockholm, Sweden (Please note that we are not reviewing any remote candidates for this position).
