You’re a senior developer, proficient with languages like PHP and Java, with at least 5 years of rich experience. You are a person that enjoys the thrill and intimacy of a startup, creating something end-to-end to solve customer problems, and working closely with your team to deliver on priorities in smart ways. You may be living in Sweden, or you may not be. We’re a remote-first company, but we value meeting face-to-face every once in a while.

At Northfork we believe in a world where grocery shopping can be put on autopilot. We are creating a system that learns what food you like and dislike, your health profile and what your schedule looks like, and we will help you with everything from preparing your personal meal plan to delivering the groceries to your door, as well as cooking an amazing meal.

We are proud to have recently signed Walmart and Tasty as our first US customers, and we also have ICA, Coop SE and Coop DK as long-term customers. Beyond B2B, we also have Gastrofy.se, a consumer product, in our portfolio that spearheads our development, where our fantasies can roam free, and where we can experiment to learn.

The role ⭐

As Tech Lead you will be working closely with the full company, from the other developers to product & business leadership, and your work will range from actively writing code day-to-day, to creating and evangelizing a technical vision, identifying key work that needs priority, and scoping solutions. We will lean on you to help balance the need for speed in the short run with quality and maintainability in the long run, including setting a strategy for e.g. migration of some of our current PHP services over to e.g. Java, and aligning technical principles that the company should adhere to for long-term success.
