Are you a bit mad, very driven, and excited about building new things? Look no further! The Shortcut is seeking 3-5 talented Event Production Interns to join our team! We are a talent accelerator, helping people to enter the tech world by either creating a startup or joining one. We're a community-driven non-profit part of Startup Foundation, alongside eg. Slush and Maria01. We support our community through events, workshops and training to develop skills needed in high growth companies

The general scope of your responsibility will consist of:

• Participate in ideation of new programs and events for The Shortcut

• Building and executing awesome events as a part of an events team

• Planning and supporting the coordination of logistics, catering, and setup for our events

• Connecting with community members, potential partners and speakers

• Gathering feedback and data from our events and using it to improve our activities

You are:

• Energized and driven by subjects such as talent development, diversity in tech and The Shortcut mission

• Ambitious, willing to grow as an event producer, and seeking to demonstrate your abilities

• Able to respond to challenges by generating results, getting feedback, and improving based on that feedback

• Interested in the field of technology

• Able to work in a structured and proactive way to meet deadlines

• Willing to sometimes work in the evenings and/or weekends (since most of our events take place at those times)

You have:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working, with attention to the details

• Preferably been organizing events before

• Strong leadership and people coordination skills
