Business Development Intern - French-speaking

This is why we help professional caregivers to deliver individualized care to every caretaker with cognitive decline using digital tools. We have launched the Minnity app for home care companies in Sweden and we are testing it in the French market. As Minnity is expanding abroad, we want to recruit a Business Development Intern who can contribute to a successfull introduction of the Minnity app in France. You will work directly with the founders and actively shape the creation and development of a startup that will positively impact the lives of thousands people living with Alzheimer’s or another type of dementia, their relatives and formal caregivers.

 

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has an analytical and curious mindset

  • Is goal-oriented, with experience of delivering results against targets

  • Effectively balances competing priorities and appreciates new challenges

  • Has the ability to work both independently and in a diverse team

  • Likes delivering insightful and clear desktop research reports and preferably has experience in this field

  • Has fluent command of English and French (required). Knowledge of additional languages is an asset

  • Is based in Sweden, preferably in Stockholm

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting independent market research using a number of sources, including industry databases, market research reports, the press and academic research, with focus on the French elderly care market

  • Identify new sources of revenue and services opportunities related to dementia care in France

  • Identify and research emerging market trends, develop strategic frameworks and create supporting analyses to prioritize company resources

  • Communicating regularly with Minnity's partners in France

  • Communicating the gathered insights and foresights to other team members in a clear and timely manner

 

Through your work with Minnity, you will develop broad-based expertise in the elderly care and digital health industry. You will gain experience in working with a start-up as well as national and international contacts.

The position is for a 3-month unpaid internship, with flexible working hours, ca. 10 per week, mostly remote work, starting from January 2020. Although the internship is unpaid, there is an opportunity to be hired in the future.

The core problem we solve is elderly not receiving the quality of care they need. This is caused mostly by the lack of adequate care competencies among caregivers and insufficient working conditions for staff, including lack of effective tools to facilitate care.
