ModaResa revolutionises the way brands and retailers worldwide schedule physical and virtual meetings, without the back and forth emailing. Retailers get real-time visibility based on predefined constraints, enabling informed decisions for sustainable planning. We believe you cannot improve the fruit if you don’t question the root. Therefore, we pursue helping brands extend their innovative vision expressed in their collections into their B2B processes, to enable more magic to happen.

We launched an MVP end of 2018 with a first paying pilot customer Balmain, and officially September 2019 with leading international brands like Jacquemus, ByFar, and Marine Serre. Features as real-time scheduling upon multiple constraints for meeting-intensive periods in the B2B apparel industry is our USP. Today, our web-app enables brands to collect and streamline data in a clever way, but tomorrow we want to enable clever prediction, based on this data.

We work in iterations, and with a lean mindsight in all of our approaches. Currently, we strive to deploy new power features in production every 1-2 months. Our goal is to deploy valuable user stories every 1 week and slowly build our calendars to be extra intelligent thanks to machine learning. In other words, today we work in stacks as Node.JS/React/React Native today, but progressively we'll be getting into Python.

Now, we're looking for a curious adventurer that wants to join our boat and grow with us. An active learner that can contribute with valuable technical insights, but also be involved in the product and technical global strategy.

You'll also have the opportunity to be involved with our clients on a regular basis, to get even closer to the needs and identify additional innovation areas with us. We're disrupting an archaic industry brick by brick, and the learning curve is steep and exciting.

Your primary global tasks will be

1. Full cooperation with the business and product team

Skills/Experience

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience

• Hands-on professional experience working with commercial JavaScript applications (NodeJS, React or React Native) (Bonus if you have some open source examples of your earlier work)

• Solid knowledge of database architecture, truly data-driven

• You've built and maintained quality user interfaces that have reached a large audience, ideally while the product is experiencing rapid growth.

• You can readily learn most technologies as you go. To you, technologies are about tools and tradeoffs, not an ideology.

• You care about the business implications of anything you build. You understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.

• You've spent meaningful time as a senior engineer or tech lead
