Quentic is on a mission to help companies efficiently manage their HSE (Health, Safety, Sustainability, and Environment) processes . User Experience is essential for us, as our mobile app solution is often used in challenging environments by users who are specialists in their industry, but not always in the use of mobile apps. We want to make sure that all users can effortlessly use Quentic to fill necessary safety forms, which is why we need a UX/UI Designer to join our team.

Your work in this role

As our new UX/UI Designer, you will work as a vital link between other designers, users and software developers. You will work with these different shareholders to improve the user experience and help ensure consistency throughout the Quentic solution with the team.

You will be working at our Helsinki office as part of our software development team of six people. Our Helsinki-based team is building a mobile application and a web portal linked to it, and in Berlin we have a larger software development team developing a comprehensive platform solution. While this is a new role in Helsinki, in Berlin we have few designers and our software developers are interested in the UX and UI design and value it a lot. You will collaborate with our Berlin-based designers and from time to time travel to our Berlin office to work with them. You will bring to the team your knowledge about designing mobile applications.

Your typical workday:

• You arrive at our office in Eerikinkatu, grab a cup of coffee or tea

• Participate in the daily stand up by the Kanban board

• Work with the new layout for our mobile form-editor

• Have lunch with the colleagues

• Afternoon you will have a meeting with the Berlin-based designers

• Agenda is to go through how the new design system is moving forward

What we are looking for

Companies using Quentic are solving complex issues with our solution, so we expect that you are interested in understanding different projects and process flows. You also want to understand the user path and pay focus to details. This is a full-time permanent position.

We hope that you have at least three years experience in UX/UI Design for mobile and web and following skillset:

• Design experience from designing Native mobile application

• Knowledge of common prototyping software

• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree

• Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken

• Interest or experience from motion design and animations is a plus
