This role is for a cloud engineer, who will develop our management software running in the cloud, which is written in Go and currently lives within AWS.

• Design and build aspects of the Nebulon cloud platform

• Mentor junior staff and work with peers to ensure a positive and healthy work environment

• Proactively contribute to the team culture

Essential skills

• Experience of developing APIs

• Experience of working in a cloud environment

• Experience in database design and querying

• Degree in computer science or other engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

• Willingness to take responsibility for design and implementation

• Experience with revision control (preferably Git)

• Eligibility to live and work in the UK

Desirable skills

• Familiarity with Go

• Scripting (Shell/Python/Perl)

• GraphQL

• Experience of working within a Linux environment
