Awake.AI is a collaborative and open data platform company that facilitates ecosystem creation for smart ports and evolving autonomous shipping. Our platform is increasing operational efficiencies and creating new digital services for all actors in the port ecosystem, from port service providers to infrastructure utilization to shipping customers and cargo owners. You're a multi-disciplinary design generalist who's equally comfortable at all stages of the product design lifecycle, from research and information architecture to visual and production design to prototyping and animations.

Responsibilities

As a UX designer, you'll handle the full spectrum of impressions and interactions with the brand.

• Meet with clients to gather information about their requirements

• Propose and sketch out a range of visual concept (paper/software application)

• Create user personas, user journeys, and site maps

• Create wireframes and prototypes using specialist tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe product suite.

• Work on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering computers, tablets and mobile phones

• Working collaboratively with product design and development teams, business, engineering and project leads

• Liaise regularly with clients to ensure that designs meet their requirements and core business objectives

• Attend meetings to discuss and review progress on the project

• Run workshops for clients and internal/partner stakeholders

• Conduct remote and on-site usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design

• Redesign or create mobile apps that are easy to use and configured appropriately for smartphones and tablets

• Bonus 3D modeling skills
