Our platform empowers individuals to live-share experiences, engage within the community, and build relationships with like-minded people. We are looking for a internet savvy social media specialist to join us to help grow & manage our wonderful Kast community.

We are looking for a great and self directed Social Media and Community Specialist. Do you have a passion for connecting with online communities? If so, this role is for you. You will lead content creation and community programs for Kast across all of our social media platforms.

Most of all we are looking for people who enjoy being engaged with and “owning” the solutions to hard problems. You will work with our Marketing and Community teams to create great social media content, plan our communications and community events, and help our customers. You will need to be exceptionally web savvy, be able to compose social media posts in English, and plan out content in advance.

Our small Finnish team has a nice office in central Helsinki, in the Maria01 startup hub. You will get access to the tools of your preference for doing your work. We offer flexibility regarding working hours and working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and compose social media content and community communications for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Discord, and more.

• Plan & execute small and medium scale events (in Finland), in cooperation with the rest of the Finnish team.

• Create creative briefs for our art team to develop engaging imagery for our social and community marketing.

• Respond to user requests on our social media channels to create a true 2-way conversation with customers.

• Develop and launch community marketing programs to grow Kast and activity within the community.

• Work with the Kast Marketing and Community team to deliver a plan to grow our social media footprint, adding customers to both our social channels and install base.

• Ability to attend semi-regular conference calls with US-based team members.

Skills

• Previous professional experience working to manage social media as part of a professional company or brand.

• Fluent in English. Able to compose social media content that is on brand.

• Demonstrable ability to create strong content on social media or a community platform.

• Ability to create visual content for social media using modern visual design tools, such as Adobe CC.

• Ability to work independently.

• You are web savvy with advanced knowledge of multiple social media platforms and how they work.

• Deep understanding of how to create engaging content.

• Ability to plan content on a weekly basis and report ROI.

• You have a skill in dealing with people and can comfortably help customers on multiple platforms find success with our service.
