Our clients are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Helsinki to become a member of our analytics team. The main goal of our analytics team is to support the development of the application and live operations by providing insights through data analysis. In this role, you will provide an analytical perspective to the various projects taking place. To succeed, you should be a self-driven, creative individual who has good business and technical skills as well as customer-centric mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support various teams in their decision making by providing a data-based, analytical perspective.

• Work closely together with the product team and provide them with insights and ideas for further development and innovations.

• Support day-to-day operations by answering different ad-hoc questions from other teams based on data.

• Create reports on key insights for internal and external parties.

• Proactively follow key performance measures.

• Help automating internal and external reporting.

• Understand and model user behavior.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Master’s Degree in business, mathematics, computer science, or other relevant field, or other relevant experience.

• Solid understanding of statistics and mathematical modelling.

• Excellent working knowledge of SQL and Tableau (or some other business intelligence tool).

• Good knowledge of Python and/or R.

• Good understanding of the concept and business, and the ability to evaluate data and metrics from that perspective.

• Ability to clearly communicate results to different stakeholders.

• Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at the same time.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• A practical, business-centric approach to the job.
