The Sound Clique is a Copenhagen based online media and platform, connecting DJs, musicians, festivals and events with the fans of electronic music. Since our launch in 2016 we have grown beyond the borders of Denmark and we are proud to be working with some of the best artists, clubs/promoters, and PR agencies across Europe. We are on a continuous growth path, and want you to grow with us - our new Senior Web Content Editor.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Web Content Editor your job will be planning the editorial calendar for the upcoming weeks, researching what topics to cover for the different website sections; news and articles, interviews and guest mixes with artists, reviews of festivals/events etc. Always have SEO in mind, and how the content could rank higher and increase our website's organic traffic.

We want this to be a fun and learning experience for you, therefore the job will be adapted to suit some of your skills and interests within web content and music.

You will work with the founder on content management and editorial, the communication/marketing team on distribution of the content, and liaising with media partners/PR agencies on upcoming press releases and setting up interviews/guest mixes with artists.

Expect to spend around 5 hours a week on some of the below responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Highly encouraged - freedom and proactiveness in coming up with new web content ideas and executing on them

• Co-manage planning of the editorial calendar

• Co-lead and execute content research and production

• Update our website on a weekly basis with; news articles, press releases, new events for the calendar page etc.

• Make sure the content is developed with SEO and distribution in mind so it can be shared across multiple platforms, such as Social Media, Email marketing etc.

• Monitor and analyze the performance of KPIs to offer suggestions for improvement

  
  

NOTE: the tasks and responsibilities above are recurring, but not all on a weekly basis. Therefore, don’t expect to be working on all of them every week.

Qualifications and skills:

• Most importantly you have a burning passion for electronic music, web content and events

• You have strong communication skills in English

• You have good web content writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail

• You are structured and can work with deadlines

• Experience and knowledge of SEO is an advantage

• You have an open mind, you are proactive and have a strong desire to learn and improve

• Past experience in a similar position is an advantage
