We are looking for a great front-end developer experienced with React to join our engineering team. MyFoodOffice® is a Norwegian, cloud based software that allows food producers to have full control of all their products. We are continuously launching new and exciting functionalities, so if you want to be part of a disruptive force in the food industry, you might be the one we’re looking for.

You will help build a market leading technology platform, and play a key role in the further development of our platform and company. Our dev team covers the whole product development process, from product management, design and prototyping, to front-end and back-end implementation, as well as QA.

What will you do:

• Take ownership of front-end development and deliver great user experience

• Collaborate with our extremely talented back-end team and CTO

• Be part of a team that is passionate about achieving great things together

• Continuously learn new things, and improve our engineering practices and processes

We would love to hear from you if:

• You love agile development with a short time from idea to release

• You are an experienced front-end developer

• Speak and write English fluently

• Identify with our business values of being smart, kind and trustworthy

• Enjoy working in a team, and value building a diverse team

It would be good, but not required, if you

• Possess the perfect combination of design skills and technical know-how, with good visual apprehension of the user interface

• Hold a good degree in software engineering or other relevant field

• Have previous experience or are willing to learn Ruby on Rails

• Are fluent in either Italian, French or German

• Know or have worked in the food industry

• Platform: Google Cloud Platform

• QA: CircleCi, Rollbar, regression tests on core back-end technology

• Tooling: jira, github, slack
