Expluria ehf is a VC-funded Icelandic startup in travel and tourism space. Our mission is to empower tourism companies to deliver world-class customer service to travelers once they begin their journeys. Expluria’s go-to-market product is a B2B SaaS platform for tour bus operators that enables secure, real-time communication between travelers and operators, improving the customer experience and saving operators time and money. We are currently located in Reykjavik, Iceland, with plans to expand to Sweden, Norway, and Finland through 2021.
Position: Full time from January/February 2020, 50% part-time before
Expluria is looking for dynamic candidates with experience in Business Development, Product Management and / or Customer Service. As one of Expluria’s first full-time team members, you will work closely with the CEO and support team to bring in new leads to trial our beta software platform, structure product-related feedback to influence the go-to-market Product and DevOps lifecycle, and provide Customer Support to preliminary beta customers. Your initial role will be dynamic, with broad responsibilities changing from week to week. The position provides an open opportunity for you to define your long term role in the company after the first 12 months, where the right candidates will have the chance to move into a management role as the company continues to grow.
Candidates must be fluent in both Icelandic and English to be considered.
At least 3-5 years combined work experience in Business Development, Product Management, and / or Customer Service, with documented success from previous roles. Ideal candidates will have experience in at least 2 of the 3 above disciplines.
You should be familiar with administrating, implementing and scaling CRM and other product and team-related software tools. Expluria relies on Office 365, Atlassian and Hubspot to get the job done, and we will be implementing Zendesk or similar to provide customer support over the coming months.
