Futurice Oslo is expanding and we are forming a bigger creative engineering team. We are looking for experienced engineers that loves problem solving and wants to use that talent to create new business opportunities for our clients. You will be part of a smaller entity in Oslo within an international company with 500+ colleagues in Stockholm, Berlin, London, München, Stuttgart, Helsinki og Tampere.

We are looking for a person who enjoys developing data-driven applications and intelligent solutions together with a team of data scientists, software developers, designers and clients.

Python, Scala, Java, R, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Gensim, SpaCy, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Heroku... If these keywords resonate with you, you should probably read on.

You are a software professional with solid experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and robust ETL processes. You enjoy to architect state of the art backend software using modern software engineering practices. As a data engineer, you are also capable of doubling as a software engineer coding business logic and building REST APIs. If you also know data science topics such as deep learning, nlp and statistics that’s a big plus.
