ParkMan is a fast growing community-based platform that connects car drivers with the best parking companies. Our mission is to make it easy for car drivers to find the best parking options, interact with parking companies, and pay for parking in real time whenever they need parking. We help parking providers to connect with their customers in a way that makes parking as easy as ordering an Uber.
About the role
ParkMan is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Helsinki. Our team is pursuing several exciting projects with a global reach, building on the already successful platform we currently have and using data to take us further. You would be in charge of developing and maintaining the data pipelines, orchestrating the data warehousing tasks, validating data and doing the reporting.
In order to succeed in this role, you should have solid skills with SQL and knowledge of data structures and data pipelines. The end goal is that you will be automating and maintaining all tasks related to data ingestion/transformation into our data warehouse.
What we would wish you to have:
Skilled in SQL
Understanding in data structures (such as JSON, XML, CSV)
Familiar with some of the BI tools (such as Tableu, QlikView, Looker, Sisense, PowerBI)
Familiar with data tracking
Knowledge of general data architectures
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes
