We've founded BeResourceful with a vision of ending the massive amount of waste in the construction industry, one component at a time. We are putting IoT devices on building components to gather a history of their use & health, so they become cheaper to maintain & so building owners can reuse them when they tear their building down. We are at an interesting point of our journey, as we are ready to test our solution for customers. Your involvement will help at a very critical valuable time.
Objective: To be responsible for the development of sensors in the building components. The current focus is on measuring moisture in wood components, but future development could be around measuring strain, distortion, detect isolation issues, etc.
Tasks:
- Design electrical circuits.
- Test design with components for correct performance.
- Create & validate PCB’s before sending to the manufacturer.
- Program firmware for optimal battery usage.
- Optimise data transmission through the Bluetooth connection between the gateway & endpoint.
Preferred knowledge
- Hardware development.
- Electro
We are currently working with Bluetooth 5, Nordic Semiconductor SoC's & celular data transmission. We are open to exploring other areas if you are an expert in another field.
